MEET ELAINE BUCHELE

ELAINE BUCHELE

Elaine is passionate about people and workplace performance. Her 20-year career includes over 16 years leading human resources strategy for mid-size to large food manufacturing companies with responsibility for up to 6,000 employees internationally. She has in-depth understanding of manufacturing employees, their motivations, behaviors and values. In addition to food expertise, her human resources experience includes the retail, financial, medical and aviation industries.  She has served on executive strategic planning committees for large organizations advising on corporate direction, strategy and vision.

Elaine is extremely skilled at managing the human side of change and manufacturing, having led teams successfully through rapid-growth, complicated system implementations, extensive projects, change management, disaster recovery, new facility openings, plant closures, plant expansions and multiple large-scale acquisitions.

Elaine produces exceptional outcomes on personnel productivity, training, regulatory compliance, human resources law, compensation and benefits, recruitment, system implementations and employee safety. Her unique combination of strategic vision and tactical execution reduce client risk and build a culture of continuous improvement from the production floor up. Exuding a warm personality yet confident decisiveness, Elaine works side-by-side with you as a trusted partner in your business.  

 

Elaine holds a BS in Business and a second BS in Human Resources. She earned the prestigious Oregon Ford Family Foundation award for academic excellence, leadership and dedication to helping others. She is currently certified nationally in the two most recognized HR accreditations available, PHR and SHRM – CP.  In 2013, she won the Portland Business Journal’s large company “HR Leadership Award” for her outstanding track record delivering results through Human Resources leadership.

 

A self-proclaimed extrovert, Elaine connects with people of all types and energizes employees with her sincere joy, humor and dedication to work performance. She is the mother of three “littles,” two dogs and one fish.  She’s is an avid runner and is proud to call Oregon’s wine country in the beautiful Pacific Northwest her home.
